Default Found a lump

Found a lump on the right rear side of my 5yo cat (Betsy). It is in front
of her hip area. She is acting/playing normal... no weight loss. She has
an appt with the vet for next Tuesday evening.... how worried should I be?
I *am* very....

....btw... aside from hating to be handled, it doesn't appear to be causing
her any pain when I touch it.

Hi Linda,

I take every lump seriously although most turn out to be nothing more than
cysts. Make sure your vet takes a look at it and maybe even a tissue sample
or FNA for examination - just to play it safe.

What's Betsy's titer... if she even has one?

Good luck.

Phil.
