Hi. I would appreciate any suggestions to my question
I scoop out my buddy's cat box every day but am having
a bit of a problem about how to discard the clumps.
If I have a garbage bag that is ready to go out I'll dump
the clumps in it but if I don't I put the clumps in a gallon
size zip-lock bag, seal it and throw it in my kitchen garbage.
I'm sure there's a better way and was hoping for some suggestions.

I used flushable litter, so I just dump them in the toilet.

This really creeps me out. I *know* it says the litter is flushable. I just
can't bring myself to do it. We have our own septic system, and so we're
responsible for the thousands of dollars to fix it if I screw it up flushing
litter. Is there anyone out there who can offer some info. that it's really
safe?

The litter we use comes in a re-sealable plastic bucket. When the bucket is
empty I put a tall kitchen trash bag in the bucket and scoop the boxes into
that. On trash day remove bag and throw out.. If it gets too heavy for the
bag I toss the bucket too. With 4 cats + 4 fosters we go through a lot of
litter so I always have empty buckets to use.

Sherry,

We have used it in Buddha's box for about three months now. We are on city
sewer and water, but the house is pretty old and so is the plumbing. No
trouble yet. I do want to say that the toilet we flush the clumps in is the
old fashioned big volume kind--not the water savers that get clogged easily.
My husband loves this litter, but I am not sold. First major clog and it't
out of here.
