When the bucket is empty I put a tall kitchen trash bag in the bucket and scoop the boxes into that. On trash day remove bag and throw out.. If it gets too heavy for the bag I toss the bucket too. With 4 cats + 4 fosters we go through a lot of litter so I always have empty buckets to use. W |

We are on city sewer and water, but the house is pretty old and so is the plumbing. No trouble yet. I do want to say that the toilet we flush the clumps in is the old fashioned big volume kind--not the water savers that get clogged easily. My husband loves this litter, but I am not sold. First major clog and it't out of here. |

I'm sure there's a better way and was hoping for some suggestions. I bought one of those tiny plastic garbage cans (2gallons?). I line it with a plastic bag. Then when I scoop out the box, I put the waste in one of those fruit/vegetable clear plastic bags, then throw it in the plastic garbage can which is in the garage. ________ See my cats: http://community.webshots.com/album/56955940rWhxAe Raw Diet Info: http://www.holisticat.com/drjletter.html http://www.geocities.com/rawfeeders/ForCatsOnly.html Declawing Info: http://www.wholecatjournal.com/articles/claws.htm |
