Default Spicey's cuddle time

I noticed Spicey sitting at my feet, staring at me very expectantly,
looking all furry & cute.

I didn't have any snacks that should interest her, just some raising and
pumpkin seeds, and she'd just eaten, so I was puzzled about what she wanted
from me. On a lark, I picked her up (she got a dangly look of 'I want to be
*anywhere* but here'), and planted her on my lap.

I expected her to hop down right away, but she purred and purred,
headbutting my hand and rubbing her cheeks and jaw all over. I rubbed and
scritched her little head, but inwardly, I was terrified, and convinced
that she would bite me at any moment.

Then, I saw it almost like in slow motion - Spicey raised her head and
opened her dainty jaw filled with little fanglets. Her little mouth closed
around the fleshy part of my thumb.

I felt a gentle pressure of teeth, a lingering release, followed by lots
more jaw rubbing and furious purring.

Finally, I gently evicted the dangerous and beloved beastie, and she
trotted away, satisfied.

Having followed the saga, the very thought of a post entitled Spicey's
Cuddle Time is nothing short of fantastic. And I'm glad that no
fingers were shortened in the process.

She just couldn't bite you. A sure sign she loves you. It's so amazing how

It was sort of a bite, but what amused me later was the look of bliss that
she had as she stretched out to nibble my thumb. She half closed her eyes,
looking like a model in a TV commercial, about to take a bite of the most
delicious ice cream.

You're following Spicey's story? (Is there a single coherent story? Two
RPCAers, Suz and I, would be most flattered.

Lots of us have followed your and Spiceys adventures!

If Tak's stories had pages they'd be pageturners. The Spicey saga
is like Torey Hayden but with far better writing, added fur and a
sense of humour. Tak really ought to write a book.

Most of us follow what's going on with Spicey.

I don't recall writing anything about it being coherent, but it's been
very amusing (from a safe distance). And well written.

I think Tak has done a wonderful job with Spicey since Suz died. She
wasn't really socialized so every tidbit of loving news is nice to hear
about. And yes, Spicey didn't tear his thumb off. LOL

I've been avidly reading Tak's stories since the time of Betty, and I think it's worthy of a book sometime. I don't know if I could read it, since just thinking about her makes me cry buckets, even now, but it would be a lovely book.
