Default Paws under the door

Lately, the cats worry about me when I go into the laundry room.
Every time I come out, three of four cats are waiting at the door, and
Buster looks worried from his comfy perch.

Lately, however, Dulce Mae has decided that she will try to rescue
me. Her paws reach under the door, trying to snag any stray
greeblings, or maybe to pull me out under the door, before the
greeblings get me.

The laundry room also doubles as a place to store appliance boxes
until we are sure said appliances work and/or I remember to take the
boxes to the trash.

One box has some of that flimsy, molded protective cardboard in it. I
take the cardboard out, put it by the door, and Dulce Mae tears into
it, making banging noises against the door.

I suppose next time I should warn Senyah in advance - she started to
get up to stop whatever mischief Dulce Mae was into...

Still a little more time needed to train Senyah it seems (big grin).

Hugs and Purrs,
Mark

(snip)

Miss Pua does this to me if I (God Forbid) go to the bathroom and close the
door without her. Maybe the greeblings will attack me from the toilet if
I'm not under her close supervision????

Some days, for an unknown reason, one or all of the kittens will decide to
'shadow' me. If I take a shower, they all sit on the end of the tub like
three little owls and watch the bathing ritual solemnly, as if they're not
quite sure why I'm splashing water everywhere, but as it's me doing it, it
must be terribly important, and they're trying to figure out why. Moe is the
worst culprit, as he likes to lick the outside of the shower curtain. I'm
not sure why, maybe it feels funny or something. kittens are such fun
though, it's been wonderful to be able to watch these kittens grow up,
especially comparing them to Jasmine and being happy that they had a better
childhood than she did. They are such smoochy kittens compared to her, they
love cuddling and actually reach up and put their paws around your neck when
they're sitting on your lap. I feel sorry for Jasmine not having a happy
time as a kitten. It seems to make so much difference to their
personalities.
