Default Good news for today

I was very touched by this bit of news.

A woman was reunited with her lost cat after 6 years.
Facebook scan tracked her down.
She couldn't afford to fly the cat home to her. But an online
campaign raised enough money for that.

Great happy ending! What the vet had to say was absolutely correct.
This cat had an ear tatoo, which fortunately was noticed. But the owner
didn't keep the information up to date.

The same is true with microchipping. Persia was chipped and yes, if you
move, PLEASE make it a priority to keep the contact information up to
date. That's the first thing I did when I brought her here from TN to
SC. Called the chip company and gave them the new info about where she
lived. Just in case she escaped.

Fortunately, she wasn't really the escapee type. She only did that
once. She quickly realized the "Big Out" wasn't all that much fun. It
was cold and wet out there. And she got mud and leaves stuck in her
pretty grey fur! Oh, no!
