As a believer in the Power of Purr, it would be greatly appreciated if
any spare purrs for a 2nd interview (to be decided this week) could be
sent my way.

I was out of work for a whole year once, so I know how bad it is.

Big time purrs on the way!

Purrs on the way! Where are all the jobs this administration is
"creating", I wonder? Seems to me quite a few people on this group are
out of work, and quite a few I encounter at meetings of some of the
organizations I belong to, also. (Qualified people, with good skills -
as I'm sure the folks here are, also - why should THEY find it so hard
to become employed?)

You've got purrs coming from me, Persia and sweet little chirps and
blethering from Peaches the lovebird. I find the blethering helps a lot

Funny, I got an email yesterday from a man I worked with about 5 years ago.
He has a position open and someone I used to work with had applied. He
wanted to to give him a recommendation (or not). Unfortunately, the man who
applied for this job was a major slacker and I couldn't recommend him. The
best thing I could say about him was he was personable, and if anyone had
free food or a pot luck going in another department he'd sniff it out and
manage to eat for free. I was like, George, if you're hiring, why aren't
you asking ME to apply? I helped you design the parameter screens for the
GUI version of the software. You know we can work together! (sent him my
resume) So add your purrs to my purrs, please.

Jill
