Crappy commercial - cat abuse

Now does that sound like they even read what I wrote??? I didn't express
concern about the treatment of the cat (which I am sure was just fine), I
expressed concern about the message this commercial was sending and they
totally ignored that in their response.

Of course. Your email contained the word 'cat' and 'commercial' which matches
up in their database with the auto-reply 'The cat was okay during the filming
of the commercial'.

P.S. I'm not sure who's seen it but Energizer has been putting out commercials
where a mailman goes through a hurricane to deliver mail. Not fun for people in
Florida.

The worst commercial I ever saw was for Quizno's Sandwiches. They had was
looked like 2 *real* dead rats, with bulging eyes, and ugly teeth sticking
out of their dead mouths, playing guitars and singing is a screeching,
Mexican-accented voices, super-imposed on pictures of their restaurants.

Now, whoever thought dead rats were a good promotional idea for a food
service company should hang it up right now and never do business in
advertising again.

I guess they got a number of complaints about the ads because they suddenly
(thank goodness!!) stopped airing them.

I *never* could figure out how someone thought that was a good product
mascot. Now, I have to say, I do find the hot dog for Wienerschnitzel ads
hilarious. There is one where he is stretched out in a hammock on a
tropical island and settling saying how peaceful and restful it is when you
hear the sound a boat and a guy saying on a bullhorn saying "You will be
here for 30 days. You must make your own shelter, and you must find your own
food....." and the hot dogs eyes snap open. It's hilarious.

I *never* could figure out how someone thought that was a good product
mascot. Now, I have to say, I do find the hot dog for Wienerschnitzel ads
