Barn Kitties REDUX
Okay - this time *I*saw the kitty.
About 5-6 months old, gray/black stripey tabby. Had some curiousity about me as I trilled and breeped at it, but decided life was safer under the riding lawn mower. (NOTE TO SELF: Tell DH there may be a kitten in the riding lawn mower...) I put out some fresh water out, and then some kitty munchies on top of my old plastic kids table, hoping mice can't scale the slick plastic legs and that the kitty can jump up there. What a pretty kitty! I hope the kitty stays in our barn... TBird ---- really wants a barn kitty |

TBird ---- really wants a barn kitty I think you should catch, neuter, and tame it, just to make sure that it remains loyal, and doesn't run off to a better barn when the mice run out. |

Easier said than done! I've heard about the kitty (actually, kitties) for weeks from my DH (his horses, his horse chores) but never saw any cats when I brought the horses in from pasture in the mornings. Until yesterday. So, I may not see it again for days, weeks, or ever. Hence the crunchies I put out there. There was a HUGE thunder storm last night - woke us up. I hope the kitty(ies) was (were) safe... TBird ---- DH is worried we will end up with another indoor kitty - but two is quite enough! |
