Signed a petition a few days ago outside a supermarket to put
legalizing pot to the vote. They spelled it "marihuana", which seemed
like a bad sign to me, but google seems to imply that it's a legit
alternate spelling.

We didn't support Castro; waaaaay back in the day we had Cuba as a province
(after we got Florida) and in exchange with Spain for (again) Florida we
agreed to give Cuba to Spain. Spain has since disowned Castro. It wasn't
our intention to turn it over to a dictator but there you have it. Now no
one can get good cuban cigars and the coffee? and dammit and we don't have
great entertainers like Desi Arnaz LOLOL

I still can sort of remember Castro being talked of as a great hero, right
up until his revolution succeeded. He made a really lousy puppet.
