I don't need them, Dan. How's Conan, BTW? Are we still on for the airlift??? Charlie I guess I don't understand why this would be proof of anything. This just occurred. What does it have to do with June 28th? I believe Charlie is being *sarcastic*. Charlie was the first option. Then when his Google history became an issue, the SD guy and Meghan's sister became the more likely options, with Charlie's blessing. Candace |

Direct proof that Mary's plan was to send Conan to Charlie. There was never any plan to home him in CA. She's a busted liar. Well, this is the email I received that Monday night, when nobody knew Dan had changed the plans: No one is giving up. We just decided to stop planning on the newsgroup. Please keep it to yourself for the moment (Candace knows as well), but Dan will pick the cat up tomorrow. He found a vet two blocks from his house that can temporarily board the cat for $10/day. There is an adoption possibility in San Diego, one in the Bay Area, your sister and Charlie. One of them will work out and transport will be arranged. We're prioritizing in terms of distance the kitty has to travel, so are waiting to hear on the San Diego option - which sounds promising (just lost a 17 year old cat a few months ago) and then will work our way back up to Seattle if necessary. Mary is, I expect, obfuscating the issue to prevent more calls to the shelter. I think it'll work out fine - collections will happen after the kitty is safely placed. ************************************************** *************************** I certainly understood it to mean that local options would be first, and he'd only go on a flight if those didn't work out. -- Meghan & the Zoo Crew Equine and Pet Photography http://www.zoocrewphoto.com |

Please keep it to yourself for the moment (Candace knows as well), but Dan will pick the cat up tomorrow. He found a vet two blocks from his house that can temporarily board the cat for $10/day. You mean Conan was going to be kept in a CAGE!! A CAGE!! A CAGE!! A CAGE!! A ****ing, goddamned CAGE!! Gee...where have I heard that before? There is an adoption possibility in San Diego, one in the Bay Area, your sister and Charlie. One of them will work out and transport will be arranged. Um hum. IOW, "Let's hand the cat off to whomever will take him." We're prioritizing in terms of distance the kitty has to travel, so are waiting to hear on the San Diego option - which sounds promising (just lost a 17 year old cat a few months ago) and then will work our way back up to Seattle if necessary. So the indignantion isn't so much that Conan was going to be kept in a CAGE (despite Mary's constant bellowing) but that he wasn't placed in San Diego. Mary is, I expect, obfuscating the issue to prevent more calls to the shelter. That's the stupidest ****ing logic I have ever heard: "Let's say the cat is still at the shelter and still at risk for being euthanized so that people will stop calling the shelter." If the cat was supposedly still at risk for euthanization, people are MORE LIKELY to do something about it - call the shelter, or, as happened - go get the cat. And that's *exactly* what happened. She has no one to blame for where Conan is now but herself, for being such a bloody idiot. snip And Charlie was still waiting for "lift-off", as that was still a viable option. -L. |

Do you somehow imagine that anyone thinks you care about this cat? Try to understand this, Lynnie: almost everyone is quicker on the uptake than you are. Now think about it for a minute. Now think about how you have presented yourself over the past few months. Get it? Hmm? |

No, the indigination is that he is *still* in a cage 11 days later. And no sign of a home in the near future. -- Meghan & the Zoo Crew Equine and Pet Photography http://www.zoocrewphoto.com |
