I love big fat Orange Boys.

He's one of my fosters that I think will be staying awhile... He was so
grossly obese and neglected when I got him that his back actually swayed
downwards-- His girlfriend was obese too-- the result of those auto gravity
feeders. He went from a BCS *9* to between a BCS 6-7-. He's lost 5.5 lbs
in the last 6 months and has at least 3 or 4 more to go- these will take the
longest. He's a naturally *big* cat- tall and long.

What a face, huh? He's a mush, too! Backs down from my little 5.5 lb.
x-feral Titi! LOL!

No, baby, I like my men like I like my coffee - tall, dark, hot and
bitter.

Heh. Women rule, ya know...

I have never met a big Orange Boy who wasn't just a bowl full of mush.
My Mom's cat Pinkus (who now lives with my sister) is like that - has
always lovingly groomed the kittens for adulthood, loved to be
petted/cuddled and is just all-around sweet.

That leaves me out on all four accounts, especially the bitter part. LOL

I really wasn't planning on keeping him, I wasn't going to rehome him until
he completed his weight loss program and I stabilized his weight. But I had
a feeling I would keep him after I received a call from a prospective
adoptive-- I really didn't want to let him go.

I always feel a little sad when I rehome a cat after treating and
stabilizing them for a few months, but that sadness is mixed with
happiness-- like a father's feelings on his daughter's wedding day. But
this guy really got to me. His girlfriend is a sweetheart but she also has
a bitchy side. But they're too close to separate and actually care about
each other-- so it looks like I'll probably keep the both of them...

Awwww....I think my next cat(s) (If I ever get any - DH is allergic)
will be adults. I'd love to adopt a bonded pair like yours.
