VERY friendly cat...
While driving around residential areas on my motorcycle I spotted a cat chasing a squirrel up a tree. The squirrel turned around after a few feet to "face off" with the cat. I stopped the motorcycle and shut it off while I watched, but never got off the bike.
After about 15 seconds the cat saw me watching it from across the street and walked over towards me. So the cat walks right up to the motorcycle and then JUMPS ONTO THE SEAT in my lap. Shocked, I pet it for a minute or two, then the cat hops off the motorcycle and resumes it's stand-off with the squirrel. Weird moment for me. |

Not sure how I got a duplicate thread, and I can't find a "delete" option. Sorry.

"bastian74" wrote in message ... I made this video of a friend's kittens. Actually a friend's stray's kittens. The stray showed up at their apartment patio and loitered for 2 days. They decided to let it in and feed it. The next day they had 3 kittens in their bathtub! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g09wo3B22y4 Let me know what you think, and if you like it feel free to share. WOW! Those ears look like there might be some Scottish Fold genes in their ancestry. -- MatSav |

Are they now permanent additions to your friend's household? I do have one suggestion. Could you suggest (diplomatically) that your friend cut the strings that can be seen where the kitten is sticking his/her head through a hole? Those strings form a loop that could strangle even an adult cat, but especially a kitten. MaryL |

Or possibly their ear cartilage hasn't hardened yet enough for them to hold their ears up- all kittens are born with their ears folded and it's about 3-4 weeks before their ears unfold enough to stand up- the mum has normal ears then again the Scottish Folds come from a mutation Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs |

Wow, how fuzzy and wobbly and sausage shaped! You had the camera so close to them, they look huge. I want one. |

Of course I've never seen newborn kittens but I think you're right about the Scottish Fold thing. They are terribly cute! Jill |

Even with an adult cat I keep all the cords from my blinds away from Persia so she doesn't accidentally get caught up in them. It's too easy for a curious cat to not realize they're getting themselves in trouble. Jill |
