Some unknown folks emailed Sherry, thinking she was taking Angel to

the
shelter because of her "antics". Angel was a fostered kitten, ready

for a
forever-home.

If you foster cats, please stand and be recognized!

I don't foster now but admire peeps who do. Kim doesn't like other
cats and
she needs to be stress free due to her FIC plus I always used to get
so upset when
they left , I seemed to end up keeping more cats than I rehomed.

If you foster cats, please stand and be recognized!

We've been fostering for a local rescue group (in Toronto)
for 1 1/2 years -- ever since we visited a foster home to
meet our newest baby.
We've waved bye-bye to 20 cats or kittens as their new
companions took them off to their permanent homes.
Although it's very hard to hand some of them over
(particularly the ones who require special attention
and hand-feeding), it's worth it just to be part of the
happiness, love, and hope that accompanies each
adoption.
Mind you, there are times when I long for an adoption,
not just for that happiness, but to get some room for
myself. I'm currently fostering 1 adult cat and four
very-quickly-growing kittens who always seem to be
under my feet!

Hisspit to anyone who'd think Sherry would do any thing despicable like cat
dumping.

We're currently on a hiatus from fostering as we're packed to the gills with
seven owners. I'm still waiting for the kids to move out and take their
cats with them. I suspect that when it comes time for them to leave, I'll
plead with them to leave the cats.

I do so admire fosterers. They are all doing amazing jobs and it is so
heartbreaking to let kitties go even if you know it's a purr-fect home for
them, since you have grown so attached to them.
Lots of hugs and best wishes to all of the fosterers,
