Default [OT] The drawback to still getting milk delivered ....

We get our milk delivered. It comes on Tuesdays with a minimum of 3
bottles. Because we are only two people (especially now that I've
switched to non-dairy milk -- actually I'm finding Almond Breeze to be
quite yummy), we periodically cancel the order, too.

Well, we got an order this Tuesday, but both of us forgot about it.
Well, I had a brief moment in which I remembered in the morning, but
it flitted away before I could do anything about it.

DH's verdict: after a day in 95 degree heat, it was no longer good.
Down the drain goes 1.5 gallons of milk. Gah.

I really hate wasting food like that =/

I don't blame you. I've done something similar. After shopping for
groceries, I've gotten home about 1:30 PM and decided to eat lunch before
bringing in and putting in the groceries. When I remembered the next
morning, I was just lucky that the ice cream was in one of those cylindrical
cartons, because it hadn't leaked.
