total faluires at spa treatments

so tonight DH and I were both mentally and physically ready to tackle the
hair matt from Hell. we put the six regular residents in the bedroom. DH
jails mattaharri, then cleans and moves the cat penthouse... oh wait I
forgot the other part...

he brings her out, he plugs in the beard clippers, and they... do nothing...
so to plan B... he takes the comb I have found in the stash of combs and
gets his mustache scissors and starts cutting... a hair at a time... then he
looks at me and says... plan C is call petsmart to see what they charge for
grooming....

This cat has so many mats and the hair is so fine it really is like
carpeting, and on top of that I found some sores/abscess that look like we
might have made them worse had we continued... so tomorrow we call petsmart.

but we did get the penthouse moved to the dining room table and Barbie put
into it to begin her socialization, and Chester is already trying to play in
the bars... Mattie in the meantime has moved to the kitty suite and neither
of them are well pleased by their new accommodations, things are just now
quieting down...

Nobody among the regular crew is upset except that Stormmee growled at DH
because he smell of other cats, and she let him know that was unacceptable,
