Our Paw's brother Pat is taking his dog Pearl to the vet for surgery
tomorrow morning. She has to have a lump removed, which could be either a
polyp or a cancerous tumor. Pat is scared to death, so purrs for Pat to
be strong and for Pearl to be healthy would be appreciated.

We will purr hard and loud that it's only a polyp and not a tumor.
That would not be good. Nope. Best wishes for Pearl and Pat.
Mom will say some prayers for them too.

Thank you, all. Pearl goes in for surgery today at 9:00 AM Pacific time.
I'll post an update as soon as I learn more. I know that the vet plans to
excise the mass and send it home with Pat, who will take it to a friend
in the pathology department of a large hospital for analysis.

Well, Amelia, we will still keep purring for Pearl and Pat too, and our Mom
will still keep praying for them.

Pearl got home safely yesterday afternoon after having the lump excised
and a tooth removed. The tooth extraction must not have bothered her too
much as she stole some of her brofur Jessie's dinner last night!

Pat should get the pathology report on the lump back this afternoon.
Fingers and claws crossed for it to be benign!
