I just wanted to post that we lost our dachshund Happy this morning. He spotted
another dog, went nuts and jerked off the leash. He ran right in front of a
car.

I am never getting another pet, ever.

been devastating to you. I do hope that at some time in the future, you
will change your mind and feel up to adopting another pet. Painful as this
was to you, Happy undoubtedly had a wonderful life with you. Your love of

I am so sorry to hear about Happy's death. Give yourself time to
mourn; you will probably end up adopting a new pet later, as I did
after my cat Annabel Lee died in my house fire last year.
