Default No poops from Tiger

Tiger usually provides large (and smelly) poops. The last two days
there have been none. He is eating and acting normal. Nothing has
changed in his routine or food. I just gave him some Laxatone on a
plate, It's tuna flavor and he liked it. I'll give him some more
later. I would try butter if I had any but he didn't like oleo.

I once thought that Dot was constipated, so I brought her into the
vet, who felt her tummy and stuck a finger up her butt. She turned
out to be normal, just maybe not as regular as I thought most cats
were. If you get worried, you can take Tiger in and get the same
thing done.

Many years ago I had a cat that got plugged by a hairball. It was
obvious he wanted to poop, but couldn't. The vet gave the cat an
enema and the cat got weekly doses of petroleum jelly afterwards. The
cat would lick the petroleum jelly from my finger as if it were good.

Tiger finally pooped. I guess the Laxatone worked and I know that he is
not blocked.

HOORAY! This is about the only place I can think of where everyone
cheers when a cat poops!

Once a cat is urine blocked I cheer every time he pees. Eat, pee,
poop. Just keep doing it.

I'm glad to hear that, Mike. Maybe it is just his age causing him to
have
some irregularity. I wanted to help you, but realized I don't know a
*thing* about constipation in older cats, just orphan kittens!
