It doesn't seem fair...

When it's dark and gloomy on a Monday morning, and you've got to be
somewhere, it just doesn't seem to be fair when one or more cats are on the
bed curled up snoozing.

I want to be a cat.

I say to them most Monday mornings at this time of year "Remind me
again which one of us is supposed to be the superior species?"- they
both yawn and stretch themselves to take a leisurely stroll to their
breakfast after which they will both snuggle down on the bed or a
chair and go back to sleep again
