Cat Sitting (again)
Last time the neighbor asked me to cat-sit I wound up in the hospital!
Let's hope that doesn't happen this time. I'll be making sure Schwartzy and Fedders are fed and watered and clean their litterbox. They are indoor/outdoor cats but she particularly said she needs me to make sure Schwartzy is inside at night. I don't exactly know how I'm supposed to do that since he usually hides. I'll do my best! Wish me luck. Jill |

Cat Sitting (again)
Do you mean CHIGGER "Chiggers" or, is that a cats name.
I ask because years ago, so many I almost forgot about it, we had a cat that some swore could herd fleas out of the grass. Would put his nose down, snort and they said you could see fleas jumping ahead of him. "Will in New Haven" wrote in message ... Good like to Jill. -- Will in New Haven Hey Granby....no, we mean the little b*s^a#d buggers in the grass!! Several summers ago, we were shopping for a lot on which to build our new home. We must have tromped dozens of lots. Being transplanted northerners, we thought we were being so careful to wear shoes instead of sandals but no one told us about.....the CHIGGER!!!! Thought we were going to scratch and itch ourselves to death!!! Anyhow, Eric said something about how we were raising a bumper crop of chiggers and our little spread got the name Chigger Ranch. The cats just naturally, then, were referred to as the crew. They don't go out, except on the screened porch. They do, however, supervise all goings on from their upholstered window seats!!! --Eric, Kim and the Chigger Ranch Crew |

wrote in message ... LOL! Actually, we don't herd those buggers, just raise a fine crop of them each year! Have you ever heard how the word "bugger" is perceived in the UK? It's more than rude. BRIT ALERT to explain please. ( I did it for N, not doing it again) Tweed |

I believe that "buggery" means "sodomy". A "bugger" is one who practices
sodomy. Clear enough? Sandy "Christina Websell" wrote in message ... wrote in message ... LOL! Actually, we don't herd those buggers, just raise a fine crop of them each year!
