I didn't say anything before, but I found out a few weeks ago that I
had been nominated and shortlisted for the Flying the Flag category of
this year's award.

I went down to the ceremony this weekend, and was given the category
award! I'm so proud, and this award is for all the volunteers at
Preston Branch who I work with. All the nominees were awesome, and
although I didn't meet him (he was at home with a family emegency) I'm
sure the overall winner of the Awards well deserved to win.

Congratulations! Recognition for an outstanding volunteer is a
wonderful thing, and I know it's well-deserved.

YAY!!! Congrats on all your hard work. You're so modest that I had no idea
that you volunteered at all. I'm glad that you told us that you won. You
deserve a bunch of head scritches, some shrimpies, a fleece pillow and a
mousie of your very own.

Thanks guys!

And Pam, I'll pass on the shrimpies, but head scritches are always
nice :-)
