Twinkling into the light is a larger than normal porter which settles.
Out steps 2 reindeer! They have to be reindeer, they have antlers!

One is large and brown with a white chest and gaily ringing bells. His
his nose has been lipsticked in red then carefully dusted so it won't
come off on any kitties. Beside him is a soft furred many colored
reindeer (has to be a reindeer, she has antlers!) also gaily decked out
with bells. Both have on red boots with little cleats for running over
ice and snow. As they walk forward, their harness is attached to a
sleigh! And what a happy red sleigh it is!

Sitting in the drivers seat is a solid white kittah with a green furry
laprobe. The floor is lined with little heaters and the seats are done
in a deep plush shag just perfect for snuggling into or grabbing on at
higher speeds. Right now the wheels are down but clearly it can have
them retracted then venture out on the runners through the snow.

The driver bends down and whispers to the coordinator and finds out
where the gate is. There's a nicely packed down track just outside the
enclosure where the sleigh can zip about on the snow and still be seen
by those inside.

Stepping down the white cat announces "As soon as I have fed and
watered the reindeer (who's eyes perk up and a gentle ringing of bells
is heard), we shall be ready to start rides. Littler bitty kittahs,
please get your escorts purrmission if riding wifout them".

As the 2 reindeer and the driver head to the buffet, the older kittahs
are laughing but they are careful to preserve the 'magic' for the
younger ones about the 2 'reindeer' as they scamper about getting
permission or banding in groups to an older kittah who can escort them.

As the white driver kittah winks at Mosey and assures they can escort
any young kittahs, a squeal sounds and several gather about.

Meantime, at the banquet table table a servitor Kittah brings out a
fresh meaty raw hambone! Just right for umm, reindeer like these. The
three settle back with ham and some fresh eggnog (virgin since they'll
be driving kittahs about for a bit). Finishing up they head back and
load the sleigh, ensuring all are warmly tucked in with heaters then
head sedately to the gate.

Shortly there are little squees of glee as a sled zips by on the dry
powdery snow on the track just outside the heated barrier.
