Lizard tastes better than Iams
I've been wondering why Vino has been such a food hound lately. Finally
clued in that he wasn't eating his dry food at all. I put him in front of the bowl and tried to get him to eat, but he stiff-armed the bowl and backed away from it. I dumped it and tried another flavour. He devoured it! So the problem is that he's sick of the Iams Original flavour. That really sucks because we have one of those big huge gigantic bags of it! And we bring this food from Canada, aaargh! I guess I'll try to alternate bowls of the Original with bowls of the hairball stuff (which I can sometimes find here in Thailand). Hopefully after a bit of a layoff from the Original, he'll go back to it. So this evening, he stalked down a lizard. Dennis kept trying to distract him, it worked at first but then he caught on to Dennis' trickery and gave him a dirty look before ignoring him. He ended up precariously balancing on the back of a chair and leaping to the top of a shelf, from which he attacked the lizard and caught it. He jumped down from the shelf and proceeded to devour the lizard, much to mine and Dennis' dismay. We cannot believe that our spoiled rotten cat would prefer lizard over imported Iams!!! -- Britta (well, ok, I admit I'd rather have him eat his prey than to leave it, but geeez! No kitty kisses for us tonight.) Sandpaper kisses, a cuddle and a purr. I have an alarm clock that's covered in fur!
