Two cats - no poops
Because of the dental, Amber has been on Clavamox since last Sunday. To
prevent diarrhea, I have been adding acidophilus powder to the canned food. They keep switching food dishes so Tiger was getting the acidophilus too. For several days now I have not seen any poops in the litter box. There has been plenty of urine but no poops. What is going on? They are eating and acting normally otherwise. Vets are all closed today. I stopped adding the acidophilus this morning and I am tempted to stop the clavamox. There is only a little bit left. -MIKE |

I would think they would not be acting normal if they weren't eliminating poop for this long. If there really is no poop get them to a vet as soon as you can, or at least call one. In the meantime, break apart some of those clumps to make sure. They may have a bit of loose stool. Karen |

This is a heavy massage technique performed by a qualified person who knows how cats' intestines are plumbed. -- ~~Philip "Never let school interfere with your education - Mark Twain" |

Only Amber is getting the Clavamox so there is no reason for Tiger to
have soft poops. Since I first posted, Amber did have a movement - well formed. I'm waiting for Tiger now. I stopped the acidolphulis but Amber is still on the Clavamox. -MIKE |
