Really Unusual Cat
We got a new intake that has to be the most unusual cat I've ever seen come
through. We've talked about moggies here, and shelter who hang purebred labels on them, but if I were going to hang a label on this one, I wouldn't know which one. She is marked like a Siamese cross, with blue eyes. She is petite. She has a very short coat. Her face is smooshed like a Persian. Her head is as round as a bowling ball, and her eyes are large and perfectly round, like a Scottish Fold. If I get back down there I'll get a picture, but I was wondering. Is there any breed with a smooshed face and short coat? Sherry |

Could be an 'exotic' persian (shorthaired persian) -- I.P.Freely |

I saw an exotic persian at a rescue centre last month. He had a normal shorthair coat but the persian scrunched up nose and persian temperament. There is a photo of him in the 'cats available for adoption' section of their website - he is 'Teddy' http://www.chapelhouse-persians.co.uk/ -- I.P.Freely |
