Default Kitten update

There are more pics of my niece's Russian Blue kittens at

http://mia.daug.net/kitten4.php

Next Sunday they will be 12 weeks old and most of them will be going to
their new homes then. I wish I had time to go and see them one last time,
but I don't, so have to make do with the pics.

PS Forgot to say that the yellow thing they are playing with in the final
pictures is a thing sold for Walpurgis. It's a stick with a lot of paper
streamers at one end. You're supposed to wave it about and it makes a
swishing noise. Have no idea why you're supposed to wave it about, maybe to
scare off evil? The kittens seem to have enjoyed it. ;o)

Are you kidding? The very first thing that would come into my mind on
seeing a stick with a lot of paper streamers at one end is, "Cat toy!!"

Those kittens are so cute, Marina. They're at that perfect age. I love
all the pictures you have of them playing.

To entertain kitties, of course!

Single-mindedness is all very well in cows or baboons; in an animal
claiming to belong to the same species as Shakespeare it is simply disgraceful.

Don't know why'd they'd wave them around at Walpurgis, but we call 'em
pom-poms and they are used at sporting events... you know, like kitten races
and such

Yes, of course, they are excellent cat toys, but that's not their original
use. )

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the photos. My niece took them, she's a
much better photographer than I am, and she has a much better camera. I
can't believe the one where the kitten is sitting with its head cocked,
looking straight into the camera and smiling! You'd think it was
photoshopped or something.
