Australia...hmmm. I think I'll ask Flippy if she'd like to join us.
After all, we're using her great website for these posts!

Flippy, I knew you'd represent Australia in Mooch's fan club! After
all, you've been his biggest fan, and even given him his own page in
your great kitty website. You and Mia and your clowder are now official
members, and are added to the list which I'll post here when we get
more names, and I'll send you a copy.

Chris (As dictated by the aforementioned Fairfax Fur Factory)

Chris, thanks for writing. You too, Dewi, in your previous post. Chris,
I see by your parentheses that your full name and title should be
"Christopher Havlicek, CS". The initials mean "Cat Slave" of course.
How do I know? It takes one to know one. I dutifully got up around just
before 5:30 am this morning to feed Mooch - it's my custom these days.
Timing is everything. If I leave it til 6:00 he'll be on the veranda
when the paper guy arrives, and Mooch will run. If I leave it later
still, the neighbourhood cats will be let out for the day and they'll
try to muscle in on the food - and Mooch will run. The only problem
with 5:30 am is that it's still dark, and there's one more potential
peril: raccoons. The bandits are around until they go into their winter
torpor, and that's what happened this morning, about five minutes into
Mooch's breakfast. A big coon lumbered purposefully up the veranda
steps. I banged on the glass and yelled out the window at him, but he
ignored me and went straight for Mooch's food. And you guessed it -
Mooch ran. He had a big meal last night and about five minutes worth of
breakfast today so I probably won't see him for hours. But just to be
sure, I keep checking every few minutes to see if he's returned. So, as
I said, I guess you can make that "Bob Catt, CS"!

So are Burmese cats. And your country is beautiful, Lois. Among our
various family members we've been there four times!

If you ever get this way again please look us up.

Thanks for the offer! Two of those family members were in Napier for a
few days this year on one of those trips, and took photos of an entire
street of colourful art deco buildings. It had a courtyard which off
it, with an oudoor cafe where they had lunch and watched a parade of
antique cars pass by on the nearby street. They loved Napier!

Several times I've posted here at RPCA about the adventures of Mooch,
our little tuxie resident stray who shows up regularly on our veranda
for meals (see the most recent thread, "Mooch gets friendly". Someone
nicknamed "Treeline has asked several questions about him, and then
today "Lesley" in the UK confirmed that our stray now has an
international following. He doesn't know all this - or care - of
course, but it's gratifying to know that his fame is spreading around
the world. If you'd like to see a photo of him, and hear more about
Mooch, click here. And if you don't mind, please let me know where you
and your cat(s) are so we can it add to our "Mooch Fan Map"!

You can add our names to Mooch's Fan Map. He is adorable.

blush We are long time lurking kitties (with a mere hoomin who is the
worst secretary imaginable!). Guess we will delurk for a moment so Mooch
knows he really is famous all over the world. We are Ginger, a British red
point shorthair from Kent, England who, after living with his hoomin in
England for a while, emigrated to..... Holland (the Netherlands), Europe
with his buddies Pandai and Byron, ruddy Abyssinians. We live in a tiny
village in the south.

We would be honoured to be added to the "Mooch Fan Map"!

Pandai, Byron and Ginger in the Netherlands
