Default Snoring cat

As I write this in my home office, our little grey Emily is sleeping in her
cat bed on the table behind me. She's snoring loudly, one of my favourite
kitty sounds. The other one is purring, which she and our other cats do
frequently. They're two very soothing and delightful sounds!

Persia often drapes a paw over her nose when she naps. This results in
a bout of snoring.

Only one of my cats snored. When I brought Mandy (RB) home after surgery
following an accident, I carefully settled her in a comfy spot for the
night. At some point, she got bored with this, and I woke up in the
middle of the night to find her asleep on my pillow with her wet nose
wedged into my ear, snoring loudly!

If Sweetie Pie falls asleep next to me at bed time I hear her snoring softly.

I'm just glad that cats don't get sleep apnea, so their snores always
remain cute.
