Default 2 new kitties for my brother

My brother's Meezer kitty Samantha has been gone for several months now,
and Pat and Maggie the Springer have both been missing her. But it
appears that the Mothership has sent them some relief.

For the last couple of weeks a couple of kitties, a momcat and one of
her little ones, ahve been visiting Pat and Maggie every day. The momcat
comes closer to Pat and appears to have been a house kitty before, but
the little one is more skittish and still won't come too close.

They do come there every day, though, so looks like they might have
decided that Pat's place is theirs. Pat is working on getting them both
trapped so he can get them fixed.

And one of the most interesting things about the new momcat is one of
her habits. You might recall about Pat working on taming a feral cat he
named Mr. Grey, who went to the RB a year ago. Mr. Grey was getting
familiar enough with Pat that when he found his dish empty or when he
wanted company he would go to Pat's front window and tap on the glass.
The new momcat has started doing the same thing.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes to get them both
adjusted to people and ready to become indoor kitties.

I hope the Mama kitty has the good sense to know she's found a good hoomin
candidate! It sure sounds as if she does. Purrs that Pat will have a
successful outcome, and will acquire two new owners soon.

My first thought is that Mr. Grey leaned down from the RB to whisper some
advice in momcat's ear about tapping the glass. Heck, he probably sent her
a map to help her and her little one find Pat's house in the first place.
;o)

Bless them all, and may quickly learn to trust humans and embrace the
opportunity to live indoors.

Purrs and onetruehome thoughts for Momcat and Kit. May Pat be able to
talk them into agreeing to take on ownership of himself and Maggie the
Springer. Every good cat deserves to own a good human servant.

Nancy and I went over to Pat's last night for pizza, and while we there
mamacat came over. She looks very much like my Cleopatra - a beautiful
longhair in shades of grey.
