Default Nail trimming time again

Nail trimming time again and I swear they can read my mind 'cause as
soon as I get the clippers and turn on the light they disappear!! And
after the first cat it is trickery time to get the rest of them!!

The good thing is that once I catch them they are really good (except
for the tortie) at letting me do them. They have to be done since I
gave them a break last month and did not do them!!

That's great that they're good once you catch them. I'm lucky if I can get
three claws trimmed in one session.

Gosh I wish Smudgie would even let me near hers let alone trim them! It has
taken me 3 years for her to let me check in her ears, and look at her teeth
without being maimed! I did that so she would let the vet do it as well if
it ever became necessary, she bit him anyway when he tried!

I'm glad the experience for you is relatively easy and painless

The first few months I would just hold and rub their paws to get them
used to me doing it. Then I would maybe clip one or two or until they
tried to leave. I would never make them stay and have it done.

The last rescue I have just been able the last couple months to do
his. On occassion he decides he has had enough before I finish his
back paws but then the next month I get the ones I could not the month
before first so it all evens out so to speak.
