Default Tank meets the puppy

Some friends dropped by on Saturday with their 10 week old poodle
puppy. They came inside for a few minutes and Tank came out to say
hi. One of them was holding the puppy in his arms. I was all set to
grab Tank if there were any issues but I figured Tank grew up with
dogs and puppies and he's a pretty mellow guy. Tank was sniffing
their shoes for awhile and then looked up. He spied the puppy, got
this look of horror in his eyes and ran away! He ran straight to his
tower and commenced to sharpening his claws. I called him a chicken
but DH said he was just saying, look if you're coming to live here,
this is MINE.

LOL. Yes, sounds to me like he was marking his territory.
