New Kitty in Town (kinda long)
HiHi, kitties. :::smallish, fine boned, mostly black with bits of
white, short haired tuxie quietly approaches the edge of the group on the beach::: I'ze new here. Sum ov you might know my new hooman, Shado. Until Memorial Day of 2006 she was Meowmie to Boogie da HarpurrCat. He went to da bridge, but I'm wif her now. I'ze heard dat dis was a funfun playce fur kittiez and dat I wud make lotsa new furrends. About a week ago, mine former hoomins took me to da TED place attid da Army base inna Seoul Korea. Dey left me dere becuz dey had a hooman kitten commin anna dey wuz fraid I wud hurt it. I woud NOT have hurttid da hooman kitten, no matter how small or noisey or stinky it wuz, but dats besides da point. Da TED people puttid me inna cage. It wuz a big cage, but it wuz a cage none da less. Dey wuz nice to me anna lettid me owt to play, so it wuzn't too bad, I guess. Dere wuzza grumpy kitty dat wuz also surrendered by hiz fambly fur being angry and peeing inna da howse cuz he cudn't go inna owt no more. Dere wuz also a furry noisy baby kitten dat wuz skeered anna yelled alla day long. Yesterday, a hooman lady anna hoomin man camed into da rum where we wuz imprizzened inna cages. Dey luked attid me, anna at old grumpy pants, anna da skeered kitten. Dey wuz nice anna gentle anna qwiet. Dey new gud cat manners. I liked dem. Dey lefted wifout enny ov us anna we wuz dissapointed. Dat nite, after dey turned offa most of da lites anna da d*gs in da back part of da room gottid qwiet, anna da babykitty stopped yellin, I gottid sleepy anna musta dozed off. Next thing I knew, dere wuz a whole clowder of cats standing outside mine cage. Dere wuz a big, long haired tuxie, a blue point and a seel point meezer, a BIG black cat wif yello eyes, anna caramel and white long hair wif caramel smudges onna hiz noze. It wuz kinda dark, but I swear I could see rite frew dem. Dey wuz nice tho, so I wazn't afraid. DA big tuxie camed up to da bage bars anna we sniffed nozes anna he began to tell me about hiz hoomins. Hiz Meowmie anna Paw anna how gud dey wuz to him. Alla da ofur kitties nodded in agreement dat dese were gud hoomins. Den da tuxie told me dat da hoomans dat camed to visit us dat day wuz dem anna I shud go home wif dem when dey came back tomorrow because dey, specially da hooman lady, needed a new kitty to luf. I didn't fink dey wud come back, but I towld dat tuxie dat if dey camed back, I wud be cute anna charming anna ask to go home wif dem. Dey camed back, just like dat tuxie sed, anna I confinced dem to take me home. Dat's where I am rite now. The lady hooman calls me MuShu cuz dat's what my owld hoomans called me. I haven't told her my true name yet, but iffen I decides to stay wif dem, den I will. So far, I likes dem...they gives gud pets anna skritches, anna da fud's pretty gud, too.
