Default We're knackered mum!!!

Today was such a beautiful day, I left the cat flap open for the kids
when I went out this morning so that they could go in the garden during
the day. When I got home, all five cats were crashed out on the sofa.

I went into the garden, and started speaking to my neighbours over the
fence. They are retired and keen gardeners. They also love cats, but
because they travel a lot, don't have one. Apparently, all 5 cats have
been supervising their gardening activities today. Lily has apparently
been supervising the goldfish in the pond by prodding them with her paw
(presumably to see if they can swim ;o) ) and everyone else has just
been hanging out, glad of the company no doubt.

It seems "hanging out" is hard work. When I got home this evening, they
were all sacked on the sofa and didn't even want dinner! Mind, the
fresh chicken that my neighbour cooked them for lunch probably had
something to do with that! ;o)

Sounds like a lovely day was had by all. Its really nice that the neighbors
and enjoy your guys.

I'd love to have a fish pond, but our weather just doesn't allow it.

I have a friend who has a koi pond. One spring day, she came out, and
found a mockingbird shoving bugs into the gaping mouths of her fish.

It was a switch from the previous year, when a heron came and ate half
her fish. Damn, sometimes a bird eats you, and sometimes a bird feeds
you. :P
