Default Healing purrs desperately needed

Leo - one of the four little ones who were put in a cardboard box in
front of my house mid december 2007 might have a pneumonia. Since
yesterday I see him breathing heavily and can`t do anything about it
as he doesn`t allow me near to him. He, from the start, was the one
who doesn`t come nearer as armslength.
I spoke with the Vet and we discussed all possibilities - most likely
Leo`s got a heavy lung inflammation. I can`t give antibiotics as his
nose is so fine that he smells it in the food. Can only wait until he
is so hungry he`d eat almost anything, or until he gets unconscious
and I can take him to the Vet for a antibiotic shot.
It is now all about hoping and praying that he fights it through by
himself.
It breaks my heart not to be able to do anything. If I would catch him
with a net he could get so excited that his lung volume might not be
sufficient. So the vet told me not to do that.
So - emergency purrs are very welcome here. Leo has to work it out by
himself but if you could send thoughts for his wellbeing and recovery
it would be highly appreciated here.

We are purring for poor little Leo, especially Caliban, who was
originally named Leo.

I'm so sorry for him. I don't want to worry you further, but that
sounds an
awful lot like FIP also. Did your vet mention that? Sometimes the
chest cavity
fills with fluids so that the lungs can't expand properly. Cats can be
amazingly resilient though. Purrs his body can heal itself.

Tons of purrs and prayers going out for the poor little
fella. Hope he comes through it all and then you can bring
him to TED for everything else. God bless.

Many purrs for Leo.

Particularly from Kumani who once had a mystery flu and it was the
same sort of thing, they could give her antibiotics and fluids but she
had to rally and fight it off herself otherwise.
