Thank you. New Mum is extremely hard-worked. This is #10.

And from me too, Nan.
I've been to see mine because I'm lucky they don't live too far away.

The

hours because of ward closure. He pronounced him to be "the epitome of
perfection."
What a nice doctor.
Not that I'm boasting, oh, no. Perish the thought.
He doesn't have much hair, but what there is, is fair, although his skin

And those fleeting expressions. Just adorable. Sister in law reports up

now he is no trouble at all - unlike the other two.
I held him for half an hour. His little hand closed over my thumb for
comfort. That's exactly what his brother has always done, he has a thumb
fixation, and failing that, the big toe will do..
Bless his little cotton socks.
I am not besotted with him at all and shall try not to bore the pants off
you with his every move.
I hope you won't mind if I am a bit vulgar now, but I remind myself of
another besotted aunt, and her colleague said (behind her back) "I am

fed
up with hearing about every time this child farts."
;-)
Promise I won't mention it.

I just wish I lived close enough to see her once in awhile. (That is,
at times I wish I lived close enough. Other times I'm glad I don't
live close enough for a phone call to say, "Grandma, can we spend the
weekend with you?".) Before we moved here I was getting a call every
Friday night. I love my grandchildren, but sometimes it is very
inconvenient to have 2 to 3 kids every weekend.

I understand that. You've done your bit rearing children of your own and
now deserve some peace!

Thank you. It wouldn't be too bad now that I'm retired, but it was a
hassle when I was working full time.
