Little Feet is upset with me

Little Feet is upset with me. I had raw fish (herring in sour cream
sauce) and braunschweiger (liverwurst), and he insisted on having a
share of each.

So I put a bit of each on a saucer. He claims I only offered him the
poisonous parts that are not FOOD, and I should offer him the good parts
that ARE food.

There really is no way I could win this argument, so I grabbed a beer
and ate my dinner while a disapproving tiger grumbled at me.

Clearly you're not from the upper midwest! (Scandinavian or not, German
or not, those are pretty standard delicacies in Minnesota and Wisconsin
especially with beer.)

I have lived all of my life in the southeast USA, and am fond of
braunschweiger. I haven't tried raw herring in cream sauce, but have
eaten sushi made with raw fish, and found it tasty.

It's not exactly "raw" herring, but pickled (uncooked, but chemically
treated).
