Thanks all

Thanks all for the good wishes in respect of Vernon's snapped achilles
tendon. His first night in plaster was not too bad. I had his foot raised up
on pillows so there was no swelling (which would have been agony). He's up,
breakfasted, washed, shaved & dressed and already at his desk working. Got
his leg propped up on a stool with pillows under the desk. He is under
orders that if he feels his leg start to swell, he is to stop working and
get his leg properly elevated immediately.
