Default Did Amber see a ghost?

Amber rarely goes down stairs - only to join me at the foot of my bed or
use the litter boxes. She also only meows to complain during a trip to
the vet.

Yesterday afternoon I went down stairs and heard a meow. I asked her
what the problem was and she kept meowing and leading me to the bedroom
where she kept looking under the bed. I couldn't see anything there.
This went on for about ten minutes. I wonder if Ike's spirit had paid a
visit. Later she came upstairs and went to sleep on her heated window
seat. ?????

The author, Albert Payson Terhune (who raised collies) swore that not
only his dogs but he (and occasionally his human guests) sometimes saw
ghosts of departed collies. Cats' senses are different from humans in
many ways (differences in visual, sound and scent perception are
scientifically proven). How can anyone know for certain what happens to
the non-corporeal part of humans and their companion animals?
