Purrs, please

Pat's confused stray, the one-eared, one-eyed scarred guy who hisses
while he's being petted, went missing for a couple days. When he
reappeared his remaining eye was badly injured and he had lots and lots
of other injuries. He is in pretty sad shape. Pat is taking him to the
vet now.

He could use some serious, heavy-duty purrs.

In addition, Nancy and I are having to deal with some issues. Nothing
serious, just annoying, but we could use some purrs as well.

Is the stray neutered?
My Mohrchen was a fierce fighter too, even after having lost one eye.
After neutering he grew calmer and didn't go for every available fight
anymore.
