Announcement from Purrsident Clarence

What if The List (isn't that what they call themselves now?)
decides not to let you join? I know they have blocked people from this
group.

That doesn't make any sense to me at all. Nobody can stop another
person from posting to Usenet except an ISP, and certainly not ANYBODY
on a freaking mailing list!!!

No, not this list - I was talking about the email list. "The List." Our
overseers. They haven't blocked people from joining this group - they
have blocked people on this group from joining their group. I was unclear.

I think it's a wonderful idea. We can probably use several diplomats so
maybe you could be appointed one of them instead of having an election
