Default Shadow watched the television

We have a show running on British TV at the moment called Springwatch,
tonight they showed some baby coal tits (similar to chickadees in the US)
leaving the nest, Shadow was enthralled and dashed to the TV and watched as
they left one by one.

Since he moved in he has hardly gone out, only to relieve himself he doesn't
use the litter tray. He spent longer outside today because I was sitting out
there, when I came in so did he. He's really settled now and purrs readily
it's hard to believe the change in just a few weeks, it's like he's always
been an owner.

He sounds like such a wonderful owner, too. It's nice when they follow
you like that, and especially with a former wildboy like Shadow. When
the weather's nice I go out and sit in the enclosure, and even if the
cats have been sleeping comfortably inside, they will usually follow me
outside and hang out with me.

I watch Springwatch too.

So, not too long ago, Shadow was not neutered, going around the
neighbourhood fighting, not knowing where his next meal might come from.
Now the hormones are gone, thanks to you.
I did the same for Boyfie and like Shadow, he likes to stay at home a lot
now, although he does go out every day for hours rat hunting - or
pretending to.
I did get a very small one on the doormat a couple a days ago, but the big
ones with those huge teefs - get the terrier men in, he says;-)
Rat hunt with terriers coming up shortly.

What would he have made of Tuesday night's showing of pictures of
a Scottish Wildcat? What a beautiful animal!

He was in the room then but didn't take any notice. I hope we see more of
the wildcat nest week, as you say, a beautiful animal.

Absolutely stunning footage. And as was said, as rare as hens teeth.
