I took Mariah to the vet this afternoon...
and Mariah needs a more...ummm..masculine name..heehee. I think I've
insulted him by calling him Mariah. In my defense, he has been neutered and he's black and wouldn't let me get a close look. Other than being misnamed he's healthy and passed the required tests to be allowed to stay inside with the rest of the feline family. Julie, Hobbes, Selena, Lacey and Black Cat |

Don't feel too bad. I thought Mischief was a boy when she first came
into the apartment. Because of the pretty gray coloring, I starting saying "Mr. Gray." It wasn't until the next day when I took her to the vaccine clinic where I worked at the time. The vet looked at her and said, "Chiquita" Since I had said if I got another friend for Imp I would name it Mischief. So, Mr. Gray became Mischief Gray. Kristi |

Julie, Hobbes, Selena, Lacey and Black Cat Before you feel too bad. When out first cat Sam was injured we almost didn't go to the local vet to check out the injured gray female cat they had taken in. We only went because the cat had been found a block from where we lived by a friend of a friend. Sam BTW was a recently altered male registered lilac point Siamese. So even the vet made the same mistake when he couldn't get a really good look. Didn't someone here report that a vet had actually opened an incision to spay a cat only to find no goodies inside? Jo |
