Tigger (RB)
On Thursday my good friend Hugh had to send Tigger to the Bridge- Tigger having thyroid problems and blood pressure problems (both well controlled on medication- Hugh said 2 years ago he didn't think Tigger had much longer but with the help of his most excellent vet and the fact that Tigger would eat anything including pills he was doing okay) he took a turn for the worse on Wednesday evening when he had a seizure. Hugh was outside the vets when they opened on Thursday and after discussion about the options, which given Tigger was almost 18 and any attempts to stabilise him were unlikely to work and would have been distressing as his vet said. He decided to let him go
I just remember him as a huge ball of fluff who took seriously his duties as household welcome to all new people (on the off chance they might have some food for him) Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs |

It's so hard to make that decision but ultimately we all have to. Jill |
