I don't know if this will help you, but when I registered MIRC on this
computer I got a confirmation email stating my credit card company might not
recognize the charge on my bill so they provided information to confirm the
legitimacy of the transaction. NIN might do the same for you with the Click
& Buy option.

I remember you stated you didn't trust email from NIN... I'm not sure why
not. Some years ago I was the subject of vicious, unfounded attacks by
trolls in this ng directed specifically towards me. I emailed their tech
support people who very quickly confirmed there was a problem. They deleted
everything before it could be downloaded then worked to backtrack to notify
the troll's ISPs. They were *very* helpful.

I don't trust any commercial e-mail, especially when said commerical e-mail
wants money from me. I am more suspicious of Click&Buy than NIN, but still
won't follow any link that is sent to me without me specifically requesting
it first (eg, a password reset link)

Technical support from NIN looks different, and those I trust.

Am going to try for a direct bank transfer. Wish I could just send them a
check for say $12 Euro (to take into account wavering exchange rates) and to
either a) roll over the excess for next year or b) donate it to a charity of
their choice. Would be far easier from my end.
