Default Ambers getting fussy-UPDATE II

she is your cat so i am sure you kknow best, but one of the things my vet
stresses is ANY change upwards in drinking habits can be an issue and should
be scrutinezed carefully, if she goes back to normal good... Lee

That is not needed. This was only a small drink. She was probably a
little dehydrated from eating only dry food the day before. The 20 mile
ride to the vet would stress her out a lot.

I think that's wise. We also have a 20-mile trip to the vet, and that
in itself
is a major stressor for a older, pampered house cat. Most cats' blood
glucose level will even show a spike at the vet's office simply
because of the
stress involved. One drink of water does not a crisis make.
But I bet it *was* weird to see her drink water for the first time.
Isn't she the one who has issues with arthritis? (Completely off the
original
topic, but I thought I remembered her being on glucosamine back when
Yoda was)
