Default Goofy Vino antics

Well, Vino definitely knew that Dennis was leaving yesterday. As soon as
the suitcase came out, he began acting absolutely adorable and affectionate.
Poor baby, he was probably thinking that he could make Dennis decide to stay
if he was cuter than normal!
After Dennis was all packed up and we were sitting in the living room
waiting for the van to pick him up, Vino actually turned into a lap fungus.
This is something he never does. Then, after Dennis was gone, I was on the
computer and Vino got on top of the monitor and began lolling about, turning
upside down, writhing and exposing his belly. He didn't even spring the
trap when I touched his belly! I began to think there might be something
wrong with him because he was being so cute and affectionate. I mean he's
usually affectionate but this was over the top!
Later on in the evening, there was a large bug outside the screen window in
the kitchen. Vino launched himself up on the counter and against the screen
in a single bound. He jumped so high up the screen and then spread out all
his legs and flattened himself against the screen with his belly. When he
came down, he knocked a bunch of stuff off the counter making a huge racket.
But I was re-assured that there was nothing wrong with him and that he's
feeling fine!
At night, he cuddled up with me a lot more and woke me with very heavy
headbutts this morning. What a sweetie, but I hope he will forgive Dennis
when he comes back home.

Thanks, Lena! Vino actually just walked past me after I'd read your post,
so I called out "Hey, you silly critter! Come here, I have to give you a
scritch!" to which he replied, "Noooooow?". I said, "Yes now, so come
here!". He dutifully came over and presented himself for scritching.
Mission accomplished ;-)

couldn't snip any of the sweetness

Vino acted just like Frank does when I take out my big suitcase. He knows
that Meowmie will vanish for an undetermined period of time. Nikki doesn't
care either way.

Methinks Dennis should find some other employ. This is too hard on both you
and Vino!
