Well, you'd think that the risk of getting squished would make the cat
move, wouldn't you? Not Stinky. Just a minute ago, we had our usual
standoff over this chair-- nothing makes him get off. I usually end
up sitting down anyway, while he scrunches into the back of the chair,
but *still will not get off.*

Well, Nikki didn't move, either. She just lay there while I sat partly on
top of her. I thought a shirt I'd had on the back of the chair had fallen
onto the seat, and I started to pull it out from under me, but my hand hit
fur! Nikki had just been lying there quietly. She is a very strange cat.
