But it sure beats some of our other recent OT forays (IMO)

I was home this morning, and got up very early to do an exercise tape.
After I finished, I switched the TV on, and idly flipped channels
until I was suddenly confronted with THIS:

http://tinyurl.com/6h5nc

OH MY GOD. YIKES. Plus a few thuds. I don't know if my heart can
stand Mr. Darcy first thing in the morning, but I did my best. :P:P:P
Damn, baby, who can rock a period costume like Colin?

And I bet there wasn't a dry seat in the house! ;

Speaking of wet things, as I said elsewhere, I have to go out
tomorrow morning, so I set the VCR so I don't miss the notorious
dunk-in-the-pond scene. Damn, that man looks good wet. :P

I like him at the end of Bridget Jones. I swear I can smell him through the
screen.

groan I'd even take him in the damn reindeer sweater. :P

Johnny Depp?

Make mine Kevin Costner, please. With a side order of Alan Rickman!

They're nice too. Whoops, keep Costner. But the other two, very
nice.

Here's a clip of Rickman reading a Shakespeare sonnet:

He's gorgeous, but a horrible interview. I saw him on Leno a couple
of months ago. He would barely look at Leno or the camera, just
stared downwards. It was like he was talking to his crotch! I
wanted to shout at the television, "You're an ACTOR! There's a
camera, look at it! There's a guy sitting there talking to you,
look at him!" They also had to bleep practically every other word
that came out of his mouth.

He varies. I've seen him be very charming. And I've also heard him
use the naughty languages. I LIKED IT!!!! :P

You're so funny! I don't mind the language except even "late night" on
network TV hasn't gotten that liberal yet. And I was always taught if you
have to resort to that sort of language so frequently it means you really
don't have a vocabulary to speak of. Of course, he doesn't really need one,
does he?

He is a very bright man, actually, and can be very funny-- the times
I've seen him out of character, he was very un-Darcy-like. Maybe
he wasn't feeling well that evening.
And I usually agree with you about the cursing, really, except I have
this strange thing about good-looking, polite-seeming men using it
(exactly like his character using the "f" word at the end of "Bridget
Jones") I guess it's sort of a "naughty boy" thing.

SNIP

You obviously missed the days of the Daves. :P

Theresa

OK, I'll bite.... What were the Daves?

The Daves are regrettfully, no longer with us. We lost the last Dave,
when Dave Yehudah passed away some months ago.
The Daves, from the RCPA FAQ:
"It is fairly safe to say that if there is a pun, a cheeky comment, or
a lewd suggestion to be made, one of the three resident Daves will do
it."

(RCPA FAQ: http://www.angelfire.com/mt/yowie/pages/contents.htm)

When Johnny Depp looks right into the camera
with that little smile and those eyes that look at you
like you're sharing an inside joke the day after
a err, "romantic" night ..... My toes tingle. Monique's
loins would leap, right Mo?
