Seeing that the plan is bust, Ranger yells "Fire!". Kitties pop out
of the
bushes, and "Foom! Foom!" can be heard all around as kitties fire
off
their Nerf guns.

It's too bad that Ranger didn't allocate any time for target
practice -
nobody's Nerf balls come anywhere near the squirrel. But they do
pass
within sight of playful kitties, and soon there are excited kitties
leaping all over the yard, chasing colorful foam balls. The
squirrel sits
on the branch, laughing uproariously. He finally laughs so hard
that he
falls off the branch and into the box.

Ranger sees the fall, and leaps towards the box to help close the
trap. He
meows at Harri and Tabitha "Close it! Close it!". The squirrel,
though, is
quick - he leaps out of the box the same instant he lands. Ranger,
though,
has overshot and lands himself in the box. Harri and Tabitha can't
see
much of what's going on since they're hiding under the flaps. They
feel
the thump of Ranger landing in the box, so they leap up and slam
the box
closed. Unfortunately Ranger's long tail is still sticking up in
the air,
so we now have a cardboard box wrapped with nylon tape, it's flaps
closed,
with a long grey tail sticking out. Samwise comes running up with
his
rope, and the three kitties tie the box securely.

Pi2nya comes running up with the shipping label and slaps it into
place.
This is a bit of an chore, as she has to dodge kitties chasing nerf
balls.
The kitties working the box start to push it towards the front yard
so
they can place it on the porch for pickup, but Sammy intercepts
them and
suggests they might want to look in the box first to double-check.
After
untieing the box they peek inside and find Ranger sitting there
grooming
himself, trying hard to master the "I meant to do that" look.

The squirrel has meanwhile returned to the tree, and still sits
there
laughing. He has even called some friends to join him, and they are
all
laughing. Amelia and Cleo step out of the teleporter with some
lightweight
equipment and place some small plastic devices around the yard.
They flip
a switch, and all the squirrels scurry to leave the yard.

Amelia: "Here are some electronic squirrel repellants. The
squirrels won't
return as long as the batteries last."

Well iffin u caughted one I betz it wud sqwirm, donn u fink so? But I don
