Da 'nip!

I stopped at PetSmart to pick up some more cat food, and thought I'd get
some catnip while I was there. I bought a container of the dried, and a
small pot of live catnip.

I put the bag on my desk. Apache and Little Boy start trying to climb on
the desk.

I put the bag in my underwear drawer. Apache and Little Boy start pawing
at the dresser handles. If this stuff is as potent as it appears, I may
also regret having had it so close to my underwear...

So I peeled off a few leaves of the fresh, and gave some to each cat.
All three cats are stoned out of their minds. This is Apache's first
'nip, so it's nice to see that she likes it.

I don't think I have a safe place for the plant that won't kill it.

Mark, you might want to wash your underwear before letting them get on
your lap. G

That's a new approach to (human) population control... although I think
it would be safer to get that done in a hospital.

Seeing my cats stoned out of their minds is one of my favorite forms of
amusement. If I remember to, I'm going to get out my camera and take pictures
next time I give them some. I think even Licky would be too absorbed in his
activities to worry about what the human is doing with that scary looking
object in her hands.
